Bill Tagney

Bill has owned and operated San Diego Superchargers since 1989.  Since receiving his certification through Lincoln Technical Institute, Bill keeps informed of changes in the industry and up to date on the latest technology by attending continuing education classes and seminars.

Bill’s passion for cars began in 1977 when he had the privilege to work with Storrs Engine and Transmission specializing in restoration work for classic Thunderbirds.  Bill is one of a handful of industry professionals skilled in restoration of the ’55 to ’66 classics.

Bill is a race car enthusiast.  His ’62 Corvette was a regular on the NHRA circuit for many years.  These days Bill leaves the driving to the youngsters but remains active in the sport by crewing on a Top Fuel Dragster.

When Bill is not working on a customer build or tweaking a 11,000 Horsepower Top Fuel Dragster engine he spends time with his wife, Michele, their four children and three grandchildren.
